CHICAGO, IL - Ash Wednesday comes a little early this year. It falls on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14. Here's when and where Catholics in Chicago's Beverly, Mount Greenwood and Morgan Park neighborhoods can go nearby (all within walking distance of some part of the neighborhood) for Ash Wednesday services. We've confirmed these times on local parish websites and over the phone.

Christ The King, 9235 S. Hamilton Ave.: Masses at 6:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 7 p.m. Ashes services at 4 p.m.

St. Barnabas, 10134 S. Longwood Dr.: 3:15 p.m. Prayer Service, 7 p.m. mass

St. Cajetan, 2445 W. 112th St.: Prayer Services with ashes at 7 a.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Mass with ashes at 8:30 a.m.

St. Catherine of Alexandria, 10621 S. Kedvale Ave. (in Oak Lawn): Masses at 6:30 a.m., (no Communion Service), 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m. Prayer Service: 4 p.m., School Mass: 7 p.m.

St. Christina, 3342 W. 111th St.: Masses at 6:30 a.m., 7:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. School Prayer Service with ashes at 1:15 p.m.

St. John Fisher, 10234 S. Washtenaw Ave.: Mases at 6:30 a.m., 8:15 a.m., 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

St. Margaret of Scotland, 9830 S. Throop St.: Mass with ashes service at 8:30 a.m.

Queen of Martyrs, 10233 S. Central Park Ave. (in Evergreen Park): Masses at 6 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 7 p.m. Prayer service with ashes at 3:30 p.m.
